The year 2023, was indeed, a milestone year for AIA-Philippines Powerhouse Davao Evangelista Agency. Not only did it mark its 27-year journey of changing and making a difference in the lives of its agency members, clients and partners, but 2023 also saw the rise of the Agency to the top!
PDE Agency 2024 GAMA INTERNATIONAL AWARDEES
The Agency, through its visionary and dynamic Agency Manager Henry Evangelista, received the top 1 spot of the Company’s two major awards: the Multi-Million Agency Group Platinum Award for registering the highest sales production, and the Premier Recruitment Award-Diamond Level, for bringing in the most number of new recruits. He was also recognized as Premier Leader for Corporate Solutions- Employee Benefit category. Besting more than 100 other agencies of the country’s biggest insurance company, in terms of financial stability and net worth, is a source of pride and joy, not only for Team PDE, but for the entire Mindanao agency force.

The team’s 2023 crowning glory did not come overnight. It was a result of deliberate and intentional leader and advisor development and expansion. The recent past years were focused and dedicated to non-stop recruitment and leader promotion for the agency. Even during the height of the pandemic, the agency went all out in its manpower expansion initiatives. Encouraged by how their team is growing, everyone in the team, not only the agency leaders, was recruiting for the agency. As a result, they inched their way to the company’s top spots, year after year. Today, PDE boasts of having the most number of advisors and agency leaders, who collectively registered the highest case count for AIA-PH.

In the recent awarding ceremonies of AIA-PH for their top performers (national and regional levels), aside from AM Henry receiving the topmost awards for Agency category, several members of Team PDE were likewise recognized. Leading the pack during the Pinnacle Awards, were the 4 qualifiers to the Million Dollar Round Table UMs Charito Azarias, Nazarena Oplas, Helario Seit and top rookie advisor Jinky Corpuz, and UM Jezreel dela Victoria, qualifier to the prestigious AIA President’s Club, to be held in Cannes, France this May. Meanwhile, during the regional PEAK awards night, the agency was represented by its 16 awardees, to include the 10 GAMA awardees and AM Henry and UM Carmen Hocson, recognized for their 40 and 35 years of dedicated and loyal service to the company, respectively. “With much gratitude in my heart, I recognize and congratulate all our awardees, both leaders and advisors, for leading the agency to where we are now in AIA-PH ranking. It wasn’t a smooth and easy ride for these performers. They had their own bumps and roadblocks along the way. But their commitment to their craft and to its mission made them overcome these challenges and emerge triumphant. To God be the Glory”, quipped AM Henry.
The rookie leaders on the block… 2023-2024 newly appointed leaders
From their 2023 performance, the momentum continues for the PDE Agency this 2024. Still focused on growing their manpower complement, they started the year, again, with the most number of new recruits and with the appointment of 7 additional agency leaders. Mid this April, about 23 of their agency members joined AIA-PH’s Hongkong travel incentive, where they got to visit the HK headquarter of their mother company AIA.

It’s only been 4 months into the new year, but the Powerhouse Davao Evangelista Agency, is definitely on the right track to making another banner year for the team this 2024. As AM Henry shared, “We remain focused and committed to our mission of making more Filipinos financially independent and capable of living longer, healthier and better lives. The past years, especially 2023, have been very encouraging and rewarding for our agency. We consider the recognitions and the accolades we received, as testaments that we are doing something right. We believe that for every success and award we receive, we help financially secure and protect a Filipino family. This emboldens us even more to bring into our team, people who are driven and passionate to make a difference in their lives and those of others. It helps that our company has a training, development and rewards system that supports and enables the agency force. ”
PDE Agency’s tops shining during the company’s regional PEAK Awards
In his 4 decades in the industry, AM Henry has been a leader for most part of it. “The role is not easy. But as a leader, it’s most rewarding for me to see my team members make their dreams come true and transform their lives. That’s my most important trophy. Consequently, the life of my own family, who has been my number one inspiration and cheerleader, improved, as well.”, he added.
Getting to the top is difficult…staying on top is even more challenging. But for Team PDE, their eyes are set on fulfilling the mission of life insurance. That has always been their strategy rising to the top, and even now, as they work on staying there!
