DAVAO CITY – Presidential Assistant for Eastern Mindanao Leo Tereso Magno welcomed the newly-installed Police Regional Office 11 (PRO-11) director Police Brigadier General Aligre Lamsen Martinez.

Martinez, who assumed his office last week after Police Brig. Gen. Alden Delvo’s retirement, paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Presidential Assistant for Eastern Mindanao on April 30.

The newly installed regional police director expressed his goal of enhancing police visibility across the entire region by implementing initiatives and projects to ensure their constant presence.

During the inauguration ceremony on April 26, Martinez vowed to uphold the strategic directives set by Philippine National Police (PNP) Director General Rommel Francisco Marbil.

He also emphasized a collaborative approach to combating drug issues, engaging multiple sectors beyond law execution, and stressed the significance of police intelligence in tackling the matter.

The director urged all the regional police personnel to enhance their leadership skills, knowledge, and professionalism and to be better at enforcing laws, keeping order, and fighting crimes.

Martinez humbly asked for the support and backing of the personnel of the PRO-11 in achieving his plans and initiatives while serving as the director of the Davao police regional office.

In a statement, the entire PRO-11 aims to maintain and improve the peace and order situation in Davao Region as it welcomed Martinez and supported his aspirations and plans for the region.

Magno congratulated Martinez and the entire PRO-11. He said he believes the PNP is doing everything passionately to serve and protect the citizenry.
